It's obvious when you look at the price. I was looking at Breitling Navitimer series recently and you can pick one up from taobao.com between RMB 300 to 2000+.

Just goes to show you one thing, we get flippin ripped off solid by the actual makers if you ask me.

Damn you can counterfeit something and sell it for 10 dollars imagine what the okes selling it for 159 dollars are making. Insane.

Should move this thread to the hardware section i reckon as well.

I give you that but according to various forums I've read, the fakes sound good but nowhere near as good as the originals, which are in the high end category. You obviously can't fake good engineering design and higher end materials or workmanship - ie these are not the same driver units.

Only reason I looked at these was not for the bamboo but the good comments people have made and the fact that they seem comfortable and are not in-ear pieces. I have Shure SE310 in-ear pieces with customisable plugs (bought in the States) and they're terrible - they sound really great but they push wax back in your ears and they don't fit well making them uncomfortable.

But why:erm:..... For the Lulz?

They certainly look similar but I seriously doubt the actual quality of the knock-offs. They probably break soon after you by them... like those one's you get at flea markets lol
