Depends on the convicted persons behaviour during incarceration and the crimes he was charged for.
Trespassing won't really count against him that much, but then again he's a famous figurehead so there's that.

I know someone that has a felony for drug possession and larceny iirc and now that he has moved he has started the application process. Unsure if there is a time requirement since release, but it exists.
