Whataboutism is always screamed when hypocrisy is being uncovered.
Whataboutism, also known as whataboutery, is a variant of the tu quoque logical fallacy that attempts to discredit an opponent's position by charging them with hypocrisy without directly refuting or disproving their argument.
its the new godwins law comeback
Tu quoque (/tjuːˈkwoʊkwi, tuːˈkwoʊkweɪ/;[1] Latin Tū quoque, for "you also"), or the appeal to hypocrisy, is an informal fallacy that intends to discredit the opponent's argument by attacking the opponent's own personal behavior as being inconsistent with the argument's conclusion(s). This specious reasoning is a special type of ad hominem attack. It is used frequently, with "whataboutism" being one particularly well known instance of this fallacy.
Trump showing dictators how to do it.
Nice trigger discipline, grip can do with a little work on the supporting hand thumb.
Whataboutism was literally created as term by the US to minimise Communist Russia pointing out lesser unimportant hypocrisy. For good reason:

You do know that Godwins law is a stupid internet "rule" and whataboutism is a genuine logical fallacy right? While the name "whataboutism" is quite internety the reasoning behind it is not.

He literally said people shouldn't be causing violence no matter the side. I recommend you watch the video, it doesn't seem like you did.
What do we want? Hypocrisy! When do we want it? Now!
Nah, bruh. But like, dictator or something. I dunno. They are right now confirming Biden's democratic victory over Trump.
How does that make the US a dictatorship?
lmao, you're still at step 1 of Democrat denial.I watched the video, don't worry.
Tucker's "argument" is a washed-out appeal against the right of resistance. Just like R13 has pointed out, right-leaning media and personalities like Tucker want their audience to "understand" what these people are trying to do, instead of honestly painting this as an attack on democracy.
"Think about why this young woman was there in the first place" instead of saying that she, along with at least a hundred other people, broke into the Capitol to subvert democracy and make an attempt to keep their dear leader in power.
One is a protest-turned-riot against systematic racism and oppression, which continues unabated.
The other is the subversion of democracy and democratic rule, and would not be taking place if Trump had won the election.
Where?Exactly. The funny part is seeing people like @ghoti and @ForceFate, among others, that seem to be confused and think I support Trump when instead I've been pointing out hypocrisy. I'm still waiting for a single post showing me supporting Trump because it's Trump and not because it's a better alternative to Democrat hypocrisy.
Just like Biden has stolen the election, Corona is a hoax.In just one day ...

so is this how Trump is remembered? attempting a coup and never saying I lost?
pathetic, cant believe I liked the way he ran things, guess being a reality show star and being in politics isn't the same thing.

There is no difference. Breaking the law is breaking the law.
