no you are not wrong and this is my main concern at the moment, with telkom they let companies by large amounts of bandwith and accounts and those companies resell the service as uncapped or higher than ussual cap by managing bandwith, so theres the power user that uses 250GB a month and then theres 10 light users who only use say 5 but have paid enough to support 100, then the 95GB not uses by those users were used by the power user, iBurst can't have anythign liek that because they dont sell bandwith in bulk, only modems and accounts so we'd have to wait till another company makes a deal with WBS and gets infrustructure ready etc but WBS might not even want to talk a deal like that with any companies and then theres UUNET uncapped adsl, we cant have an equivelent because kyocera who made iburst has a patent which grants them 20 year exclusive use of this technology, WBS is the only company licenced to use this technology in this country and its exclusive.
So the only way we get uncapped again is if WBS decide to offer it and they wont do that unless thier competition offers it as a standard. SO we are now officially one step behind telkomADSL, we were 2 ahead, now 1 behind
