Okay, here is something I've noticed and it bothers me cause I can't understand it.

You go out, you party, you meet someone, you make out, or hook up and become a couple, then, you go out (when you're in this 'relationship') and you find a spot and u sit down and just chill and basically look as if you're miserable or bored for the whole night at a club.

Has anyone ever seen/noticed this?

I've got a few friends who are like this, they 'alone' are okay to go out with but then when the gf/bf tags along, they just get boring!

There are of cuase, exceptions to the rule, I see alot of couples who still know how to have fun 'together' but those are few and far between.

It's human nature, presenting an image to the person you are with and all that jazz.

^^ what he said.

I think it's retarded, I couldn't care who I'm with - I'll still be my rotten self. Maybe that's why I'm not married yet :/

There's a stigma that is fed by people's paranoia that if their partner dances/talks with another person, especially an unknown person, then that partner is trying to pickup the other person.

This is of course true sometimes, but heck dammit, 80% of the time it's not true, and they could be having a ball meeting other people and other couples without getting all jealous.

But, hey ... jealousy rules nowdays.

And ... then there's the ******* side: You are a guy, and you talk to a girl, and then suddenly her boyfriend is in your face trying to prove he's a man by getting all aggressive with you for talking to her. This happens the other way round even more violently, with catfights happening in the girls bathroom "out of sight".

That's why it's safer to sit in the corner and only chat with the people you came with as a couple.

Lame lame lame lame lame.

Agreed, but geez, when I watch the couples and I think... geez, you guys look so bored, yet, when they apart, they party, it's weird!

Agreed!
That's why when I'm in a relationship, my gf must understand that I know people, if she has a problem, she is more than welcome to come over and meet the girl I'm talking too and if its the other way around, introduce me or not, its up to her.

I just hate how, when couples meet, its like, downhill from there (in a sense)
