I purchased a laptop that i now need to courier from dbn to jhb.Can any of u guys offer advice-how to courier it,which company should i courier it with, etc. And basically is it safe to do so? Thanks in adv.

Speed Services insured. Alternatively I can recommend Timefreight.

I sent two not so valuable laptops (between R2500 and R3000) via Post Office Ordinary parcel with Insurance. Each cost about R70 or so. Both were packaged in their standard boxes filled with cushioning. Both made it to their respective destinations with no hitches. Still the RAM and Speed services options are safer and more reliable but yeah if you need to do a cheapie the PO ain't that bad.

Thanks for the input guys. Im gonna give these okes a call and see what i can find out.

I just had an 11K laptop shipped from Pretoria to Richards Bay was as fast as speed services for R50..That was who ComX/Laptopdirect used to ship it here.
The Courier Guy 0861 203 203
Box was wrapped in blackbag.
Possible that courier cost was discounted but service was A1.
