I was 'that guy' growing up... the one who used to constantly play with the battery cover while watching TV - resulting in them all breaking through the years. Kept it under wraps though so I never caught too much slack.

Though that's now one of the reasons I'm never having kids

I use clear wrap to wrap it 2~3 layers and change it every 3 months for all of my remotes.

That will be my solution in the morning. The other solution was to hang them from the roof using curly cords! Maybe I can cut some rubber bumpers and work them around the edges.... hmmmm

That looks exactly like my Samsung remote

All the others are open but either don't work, have sticky/ grimy keys ( pet peeve) or battery compartment covers missing etc. so I resorted to this when I got the new tv
