Coverage Map Update

I wanted to have a look again on the coverage map this morning and saw that it was updated!

Now I can't find my address anymore! :mad:

They have lot of required fields that you need to complete, and if I complete them all I get a list of results, but my address is not even close to what the results are!

This is really bad! I don't know how they are able to achieve this because the street I live in is the one named like such in Pretoria.
 
I went to check my coverage (just because) and this is my results:

Voice Services. Excellent Indoor
High Speed Internet Services. Excellent Indoor
Voice and basic Internet Services. Excellent Indoor
Voice and High Speed Internet Services. Excellent Indoor

Yeah... WHATEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

I see the following now too:

Until neotel stick to their guns of slashing prices to 1/6 of telkom's I will not go there, they are not really that cheap anyways.

I don't really know about that. With Neotel I can get a 5GB cap all inclusive for the same price as my 2GB ADSL.

The only thing stopping me at the moment is all the issues being reporting in this section of the forum.

And I need my telkom line because I have a fax machine that I use. So for the next while I don't think I'll be moving to Neotel since they have serious network issues.
 
Right now, Neotel are a disappointment of the HIGHEST order.....

How they can have a BRAND new network thats suffering from capacity problems already is downright shocking.
 
Hi everyone

This is my first post, please be gentle :-)

I just had it with Neotel. Two weeks ago I had excellent coverage now that I checked the map again I am not covered. This was confirmed by the helpdesk as well

With regards to the coverage, how easy is it to cancel the Neotel contract if they decide to change the coverage map and move you from excellent to not covered.

As far as I'm concerned I don't see why I have to pay any penalties for cancelling

Unfortunately ObieKanobi.. you have to pay off the device if you cancel, simply because you signed the contract...

Its not right of them to do this... but yeah.. you can fight with them and sometimes they'll buckle and let you get out for free... but don't count on it.

I have sent my cancellation, I will see how things are going to turn out.

You don't want them to come to Bloem, I don't want them to goto Bloem because a month later, there will be 20 new MyBB members moaning at Neotel in these forums! :(
