Coverage Map updated how often?

How often is the coverage map updated. Was promised coverage in my area 6 weeks ago and still nothing

I would recommend go to your local CELL C Store or cheeckers and buy a sim card and load R10 of airtime and make sure you rica your card. If you have a compatible cell c that can receive 3G signals or Dongle to test if you have wooooosh.

Doesn't get updated as frequent I know of 5 people - that had no coverage using CELL C map but when they tested a sim card they were able to get "woooosh" signal HSDPA/WDCMA and they have been happily connected for 2 weeks with 1 or 2 problems but nothing major.

Coverage map is also not 100% accurate, so even if it does get updated recently, it does not mean much. Best is to try and borrow a modem, alternatively use RichardG's suggestion. just remember, you will need to have a UMTS 900MHz compatible cellphone (Quad Band). Other phones will not be able to utilize the WHOOSH towers

+1 I am still waiting!! Apparently they will update mid March, but then again they were suppose to update end Feb.

Don't rely on the coverage map. Its not accurate, besides try zooming in on the map, it stops at a point. Its a useless tool.

The coverage map doesn't seem to accurate either - have terrible signal at my place, though the map says full coverage.

Talking about updated coverage maps

I get disconnected this morning and can only connect to EDGE and I am unable to force the connection to HSPA+ it just refuses to register on 3G. I just happen to go to CellC's site and check the coverage map and I see they have removed my coverage

So I it's back to vodascum for me until I can get a answer.
