no doubt its a prescott cpu. I have the same problem atm.
Do yourself a favour, get into the whole system cooling thing - will cost a little here and there, but is cheaper to do this than loose your pc. Ontop of that, the cooling gadgets will also be usable in your next pc.
My case takes 5 fans, i've installed 4. Two front right, two rear. - Made little difference btw, too much heat generating parts inside IE 2xSATA drives,1xIDE, 2xGFX cards, and DEFINATELY my CPU being a "PresHott"
I've now ordered 2x Vantech Hard drive Coolers, they will be up by my DVD drives, blowing the air out my powersupply which will help, and got myself a Zalman

I've found some reviews on this monster... 99% of the reviews recons its the same if not better than liquid cooling (i woulnt try, like my pc dry

). People say the temp drops from 55/66deg to around 35 and 45degrees which is brilliant for a prescott!. The thing costs around R550 on DigitalPlanet!.
The Negative side to this monster, it is BIG, it weighs half a KG, and you need to make sure you have enough space in your case to fit this thing. You also can't move your pc around too much because of the weight, and apparently some people moaned that it can turn if you move your case too much!. The metal fins apparenty are sharp and loads of people praising this thing has said they got cut... but apparently the blood is well worth the cooling. They are EXTREMELY Critical on the review about heatpaste (arctic silver) and that you have to apply an even layer of the stuff over your cpu, and not just put a blob and make your Heatsink squash the stuff all over for you!.
Oh and the Hard drive coolers are Vantec, also available on Digital Planet for around R365 each.
Make sure your cabling in your pc isnt obstructing airflow, make sure its nice and neat, and out of th way for airflow.
