What is the cpu temp when you are in the bios and or in windows idling?

If the heatsink base is large enough to cover both dies, it is the revised version and the cpu should not overheat.

Not so, according to this thread on the dell community site, the shorter version of the heat sink which is not covering the northbridge, is the correct one.

Correct. The shorter one is the revised model. Not sure why I remembered it the other way round...
