Crappy throughput on VM

I connect to the net with my N80 on VM, in the earlier days I could surf for hours, but nowadays it is a struggle just to log onto google,it take forever to login and once in you lose connection after 5 mins, then you cannot get in at all.VM sucks big time. Most times just logging in takes so long ,after u get in and then losing connect before you can do something ,your airtime get used.
A total waste of airtime.

Are you guys still having problems connecting today? Writing article and want to find out if the problem has been resolved yet.

I've been using a VMobile SIM card for about 10 days know while away on business (only for GPRS/EDGE, no voice) and no problems thus far. Been in 4 different locations, no hassles. I'm using a 6233 with a USB data cable as IR/BlueTooth is very unstable.

I e-mailed Carmen Doyle and Sort Me Out, hell now that she is famous she can officially Google herself.

@Cara - It seems better at times, but the network is not load balanced to deal with the peak times.

8-9am ; 4-6pm ; 8pm sucks most of the time.

i too have been using virgin for 3 months now,It hase its ups and downs.
but wtf is going on
I have to restart my pc and switch off my phone to get a better speed, and then the disconnects.

I think its mostly the ip stack crashing and slowing down. It's probably just surfacing now because of "cheap" data from Virgin allowing a higher usage. Phones were actually never meant to handle this much of data.
