How crazy is the tickets for Bulls vs Cheetahs???

http://www.thebulls.co.za/content.aspx?id=13938

This is not an international game but they price it like one.
For me and 6 friends to go would cost us R1400.00 just for tickets. All other seats are crap. Then another R200 for parking. And a few beers each plus snacks and food bought at stadium. Already looking at R2500+

Bit expensive for a 4 hour outing.

Why not lower the ticket prices and make sure the stadium is full instead of trying to make a quick buck.

Imagine what the prices will be for a final???

Hi APoc84

Welcome to mybroadband.co.za

Sorry but this is the trend, rather than the exception. The rugby bosses have got big pockets that need lining.

The stadium will be full anyway. R200 is not bad if you compare to a show at the theatre. Compare the R100 tickets with paying R50 to watch a movie.

The reason our country's rugby is up there with the best while all the other sports lag behind is because there is good money in it, and people are prepared to pay for it.

It might be true, but why is it that soccer is able to pay the national coach millions and we still suck. And tickets for cricket is not that expensive for international games and stadiums take much less spectators and we are still up there with the rest?

Any season ticket holders not going to the game, I'll gladly make sure your seat is full:D PM me.

worldcup?

Soccer? You wont catch me dead at a soccer game. 90 minutes of running around and only 1 or 2 goals. Not enough action for me...;)
No wonder they've got hooligans and potheads at each game.

:DSoccer - A gentlemans game watched by hooligans
Rugby - a hooligans game watched by gentleman!:D

People pay to watch the Bulls play rugby!!!!??? What is this world coming to...:sigh:

This seems pretty reasonable if it were the Sharks playing though...

Sounds about right. Except for the Bulls.
Hooligans watching hooligans.:D
(i just know I'm gonna get some %@^& for this comment) :p

One of the bulls players frow hisss laptop in a roid rage again?

Come on. You know they don't even know what a laptop is. They would be considering it as a Teazers special. LAP-Lapdance TOP-Table dance

True. Bulls player frowing coach's laptop in roid rage is probably more like it.

"jirre oke, how u expect me to know where the forking blind side is when i isnt blind?"

*CRASH*

Like any team, the Bulls have their fair share of "hooligan" supporters. I prefer not to generalize, really :p

I support the cheetahs(yes yes i know) and believe me they have some hooligans. Ever been in Bloem on a big Cheetah game??:eek::eek:

But honestly R200 a ticket for a semi-final is a bit much for me. I paid R50 a few weeks back for the same ticket.
I contacted Sharks and their tickets are R130.00.
R70.00 difference. That's 3 beers and a hotdog

Agreed, the prices are indeed ridiculous. :)
