i'll try my spare router i have, but going to try my billion router first on other socket in my other room and see what happens

if it is router what good routers are there like billion 400g but showing attainable rate of line etc. and cheap
 
I haven't had any issues with my D-Link DSL-2500U (single Ethernet port and no wireless) which should be obtainable for under R300.
Scoop Distributions also sell Planet ADSL + Wireless N routers for R450 ex VAT, which is a bargain.

quite good prices does it show attainable rates of line/exchange?

Edit: Planet ADSL + Wireless N routers wonder if this is available at shops cause i like it :P

I'm not sure about the Planet router, but I have my DSL-2500U shows all the necessary statistics. You should be able to check if the Planet router can show the statistics by downloading its manual.
 
When i change my router (Billion) for TP-link it connected straight away with no CRC errors and better readings so problem fixed finally :P
