You need to use a proxy, because they are detecting foreign ip's.

Just download tunnelbear and use that while creating the account.

Can confirm, used a proxy (security kiss) and it worked like a gem

Created a US-account for somebody yesterday in order to get CloudOn installed on his iPad.

Did not have to pull any special stunts with my SA IP. Just fill in a real US street address and it will go through.

If you create a account do so by clicking a free app then you do not get asked for a credit card, well the last time i tried last year at least dont know if its changed since then.

Advice please

I can confirm that I have used this method described above on quite a few occasions with success.However just tried this today for a family member and I get the following message when completing the registration "Please contact iTunes support to complete this transaction".Would be interested to know if anyone else has this problem.This was done from my PC.

I have exactly the same problem. I have a valid wildtwig card, I use a Macdonalds address with zip and phone no....and everytime it blocks me. Any solutions will be greatly appreciated.

Oh btw, I've been trying to do this from an ipad. Would it make a difference if I used a pc?

Use a pc.

Download Itunes
Download tunnelbear
Sign up for the free 500mg from tunnelbear
Turn on tunnelbear, set to US
start itunes.
