Yep, i know, creating a dvd from VOB is easy, just add to Video_TS folder and burn.
But how do you do it if you have VOB files with the same name.
Basically, i have several mini-dvds (1.47gig - recorded on camcorder). I want to combine them into a big DVD.
Anybody know of any software that can do this, free, or maybe how to edit the names of the VOB files (and nope, u cant just rename it - i tried:p).

Thanks
Dvdflick does not allow VOB files.
To my last reply which sounded confusing, you can actually do this on DVD shrink.
I was just saying that i could not figure it out before.

So did you get it done now?

Have you tried renaming the VOB files? If they are ripped from a DVD, then get the original filenames... if they are home made, then just name them sequentially.

Hey
It does work thro DVD shrink re-authoring.
Renaming the VOB files does not work (home made), i tried, but i think that there is info stored in one of the smaller files that locate the big VOB file. So by renaming it, it cannot find it.

maybe you could try this imtoo DVD Creator, it can convert between DVD and VOB easily

Convert X to DVD... works... just drag the VOB files into the task window of the app, even if the VOBs are named the same, and convert. The app then spits out a valid DVD structed folder ready to burn. You have other options too with this app, like merging many same named VOB files into a single title, menu with scene selection, etc. and its all automatic.

No problems here with it yet.
