How do you do it?

I enjoy spending time with her but I also need some of my free time for myself to do the things I need to do.

Talking to your partner seems like a good place to start...

Make sure your partner understands the need for "me-time"...

Usually requires them working a 8-5 job and understanding that when you get home, you sometimes just need to relax without having to give further attention to the spouse.

My wife understands completely, my time usually involves mountain biking twice on weekends and many a night playing PC games. However I do try balance is out, and when I game its only for a couple or hours and not the whole night.

She loves to read and watch crap TV shows.. she can do this when im doing my thing, and we are both happier for it.

How old are you seriously?

This.

These threads are seriously retarded. You people are asking questions that if you don't know the answers to, aren't ready to be in relationships or to socialise with other adults.

FFS, how do I block this subforum already?!?!

Why dont you just send the guy that keeps your seat warm in the mornings to keep your partner company in the evening while you go fight someone during your "me time"?

Simply don't enter it.

The thread titles are annoying the bajesus out of me. Really lame. " How do I do this, how do I do that... OMG I can't do a damned thing in my life without posting an attention seeking thread" etc etc...

What's wrong with ignoring it? Not everything on any site will suit all tastes. You should be adult enough to know to ignore some things.

Please see above post.

Anyway, found a way. Bye bye subforum and trolls.

Evidently the serial troll's antics have worn thin...

Yes, my patience is wearing thin.

I am tired of dimwits (not you DJ, you are one of those who can tell the difference) who cannot tell the difference between obvious trolling and serious questions. And then become insulting when I ask a serious question.

From now on, I hit back.
