Good fight shown by the Windies but I suspect India's plan will be to only bat once. So they will look to roll the Windies tomorrow morning and then grind them into the dust for two days, then make them bat last on a wearing (worn) pitch.
 
West Indies folded predictably for 311. Chase got his century and was 106 when bowled by Umesh Yadav.

Umesh was bowling nicely and getting the ball to swing a little. Good line and length. He finished with 6/88.

Quite the start

Starc to Hafeez, out Caught by Labuschagne!! That's a freak catch from Labuchagne at short leg. Sensational that he managed to hang onto it, not that he knew much about it till it got stuck between his two legs. Massively lucky there. Hafeez just stands in disbelief while the third umpire goes through the replays, trying to gather which side of the bed he woke up from. Length ball on middle, flicked away off the bat-face. He's expecting a boundary. But what has happened is that Labuchagne has got in the way. It's hit his thigh, dropped onto his ankle and then somehow the other leg has come around to trap the ball in between. Ridiculous catch. Hafeez c Labuschagne b Starc 4(10) [4s-1]
