Cricket: International Discussion Thread

Pakistan 80/5 in the 21st. It's left to Sarfraz Ahmed to make this chase meaningful.

Pakistan are building up some of their famous inverse momentum.

Sodhi to Shadab Khan, OUT, Horrid call from umpire Wilson and Hafeez had already burnt Pakistan's review. Top ball, though, Tossed up deliciously, drifts in at off, and breaks away sharply outside off. Shadab does not read it and plays inside and there's a daylight between bat and ball. There was a noise - came from bat jamming the ground. Poor, poor call from Wilson. Proper howler. Coach Arthur isn't impressed
Shadab Khan c †Latham b Sodhi 7 (18b 0x4 0x6) SR: 38.88

Oh dear :(

New Zealand seem to.have the mockers on the Pakis at the mom. That rear guard partnership between Sodhi and Southee was the difference.

Their position does not get much more commanding than this ^ - they hold all the aces.

It's somewhat unorthodox, but the rules seem to be far more stringent on bowlers than batsmen.

No rule on batsmen dancing around the crease "distracting" the bowler on run-up etc
