Indeed. Tough conditions though. I happened to watch the CSA ODI game afterwards, and to be honest, just finished. Fantastic chase and great innings from Jason Smith. I think I enjoyed that more than the Aus/Ind game.

India 164/1 going at 8 an over. Should be a very high-scoring game if the Aussie chase goes well.

Shubman Gill is averaging 75 with a strike rate of 106 this year.
 
Aus already lost the match once India made more then 300. Their batting lineup with Smith and labuschagne in the lineup is too slow to chase that type of score.

Agree to an extent. Smith's form has been a bit off, but he can bat quickly when he needs to . Marnus scored his runs against the Proteas at 100 SR. He's fared better than Cam Green in his last 10 innings, and to be fair, Green's bowling has been a bit inconsistent.

The Aussies are definitely going to miss Head and Maxwell in their usual slots. I think the staff is doing a bit of last minute experimentation and I expect the Australians to do better in the tournament. Starc also due back.

I'd be more concerned about what our own boys are going to be looking like against teams like India. Here's hoping that I have to eat my words.

Cam Green has shown in T20 cricket he can score at 150+.
Marnus & Smith can't. So the moment the score gets above a run rate of 6 it places huge pressure on the rest of the batting. This tournament is likely to have majority of the wickets being batting wickets.
Yeah marnus scored at 96 in the series vs SA but was the slowest of any of the aus batsmen who spend any time at the crease .

India & England are the favorites for the WC. We will see how we compare.
