Yeah that I know, I just feel the standards of the umpires is not that good anymore. This stuff can win or lose a game for you.


Anyone seen the argument in the Pakistanis changeroom, dont know what thats all about?
 
You would think that they realise that there's still 3 days left after today and all they have to do is hold onto their wickets. But nooo :rolleyes:

Pakistan require another 104 runs with 6 wickets remaining... 1 or two wickets more... and it'll be very very close! :)

That sucks, we went into this match with a full strength side, expecting to steamroller them so we could rest players during the next match in preparation for the world cup. Wonder what team will be selected for CT?

They need a full strength team again, they cant afford to lose the test series especially knowing what a strong team Pakistan is at ODI's.

Actually no. If you've kept with the program, the SA bowlers are at fault. The captain's not a bowler. It doesn't really matter what field you set a team, but when ur bowlers bowl crap short balls to a tail ender, there's not much you can do about it. As the commentators said. Our (SA) bowlers are mechanical. They bowl short to the batsmen instead of bowling at the stumps. Did it against India and now Pak. They just don't learn. But make no mistake though, Pak lower order did well.

Inzamam did brilliant!

I still think its Smith!
He didnt tell his bowlers to bowl in the right spots, Im sure if he told Kallis, Kallis would have!
He used Harris 3 Hours after he should have, and thats easy 2 slips and a silly point around a batsmen like Asif who cant really hold a bat!

Come on, why u defending the guy?
 
I have said all along we need a different test side to the one day side. We can't play test cricket anymore.

We are a joke. Smith is a joke.

I'm not defending the guy. Give credit where credit is due and blame it on the ones who are at fault. For this instance it isn't his fault. The way Kamran wasn't caught at slip this morning was Smith's fault yes...but not for the problem of not bowling out tail enders.

Edit: so where's ur praise for Smith when he beat Pak in the last test and for the two wins against India? you are just here to flame and say things so people can respond to u.
