Oval Invincibles Women won by 5 wkts

M Kapp, Hero of the Match:
It's been an amazing journey, we knew we could do it. Have to give credit to the whole team. The wicket was really tough out there, happy to have gotten over the line.

Suzie Bates: A little bit overwhelmed with the way we have responded. Everyone turned up, the way Kapp batted today was just amazing. She's one of the best allrounders in the world,

Caught the last few overs of that. There was nowhere the English lasses could bowl without Kaur smashing them to all parts.

Poor from England with the bat. Won the toss, skittle India for 169 and are 7 down for less than 100

3-0 win for India

Very strange dismissal. But it's fair after all. Guess the non striker can't just run all the way down the other end, which will make it also unfair.

A Mankad to win...
I don't get why people are so upset about it. If the powers that be don't like it, take it out of the rules but as long as it is a legitimate form of dismissal there shouldn't be unhappiness about it. How many times have we seen a batter safe from an attempted run out by only a few millimetres? Surely expecting the non-striker to stay in their crease until the ball is delivered is only reasonable and fair.

An alternative would be for the third umpire to call a short run each time the non-striker has left the crease before the ball has left the bowler's hand.

On this one I disagree. If you look at the image if the bowler completes her normal delivery batsmen would have been in crease till ball is released.

Bowler was looking for a mankad imho.

I have no problem with batsmen getting run out when they are stealing ground but don't think this was deliberate.

She most likely spotted it from a few deliveries already, so it was really England's error.

Either way. I don't think England would have won in any case.

Get owned england, keep taking chances and get burned. They were happy with the stupid boundary rule hey? Pic shows how she had her bat out of the crease every ball.
