Depends on how they lose.
The NZ game last 10 overs, Akmals catching, Akhtars bowling... that was a throw.
The WC against Aus 20Twenty, was not a throw...

England series, well we all know what happened there, but in general they have the stigma of throwing games/not pitching.

Maybe they are that useless. They have no idea how to play consistent cricket.

Blame who ?

that's a pathetic outlook to have as a supporter. most of us here banter that they "throw matches" but do you seriously believe that any match they lose is a result of them "throwing it"??

It's JK8's way of convincing himself that Pakistan is nearly unbeatable.

JK8 was banned so he came back on the username Quattro. Defamatory to Audi tbh

If he was banned, why not ban him again(we all know its him), ffs i am tired of his garbage spilling nonsense aka trolling.

NM will just put on ignore

That's the question we have all been asking. Seems the mods having been sleeping on the job again..

I have trying to figure out our best team / combination against NZ.

Smith
Amla
Kallis
AB
JP
Faf
Van Wyk
Peterson
Morkel
Steyn
Tahir

or make AB keep and drop van wyk for the extra batsman. He has had 2 weeks off so he should have recovered from his lower back injury.
Smith
Amla
Kallis
AB
JP
Ingrim
Faf
Peterson
Morkel
Steyn
Tahir

what do you guys think?

Personally don't see Botha and Lopsy getting a game.

Smith
Amla
Kallis
AB
JP
Ingram / Faf
Faf
Peterson
Morkel / Lopsy
Steyn
Tahir

Ingram is a better batsman than Faf IMO and needs to play. Morkel or Lopsy should be picked based on conditions. A left arm swing bowler against NZ may not be such a bad idea.

make your mind :p

Considering that Botha and Peterson have shown they can bat.......

How about...

Smith
Amla
Kallis
AB
Duminy
Faf
Botha
Peterson
Lopsy
Morkel
Steyn

;)

Considering our success with ball I'm inclined to got for an extra batter.

1. Smith
2. Amla
3. Van Wyk (keeper)
4. Kallis
5. AB
6. JP
7. Faf
8. Botha
9. Peterson
10. Tahir
11. Steyn

But that then means no Morkel or Lopsy and a very spin heavy bowling attack but on these flat docile decks why not?? Why does the new ball partnership have to be an all out pace attack?? The new cherry just flys further on the sub continent pitches so think outside the box. Peterson and Steyn would be my new ball attack!! 1st bowling change, Kallis and Tahir followed by Botha and JP!!! Between the 6 of them I think we would be quite effective and if they not we bat deep to chase whatever score the opposition post...

Dangerous, but not the team lol

What happens if they take on the opening spinner? Steyn as with almost all opening seamers can go for runs... you need Lopsy or Morkel, Lopsy more because he can take wickets. Kallis and Tahir, good, leave Botha and JP for the end? Nope to risky.

Actually you find your Powerplay bowlers the rest you leave up to the conditions of the game.

I would prefer AB to Keep wickets if He's fit. I would then replace Van Wyk with Ingrim. Also WE must have a second specialist seamer. Morkel or Lopsy for Botha

they more likely to go after the quicks. Peterson and tahir have been our most successful bowlers to date. They are essentially our main strike bowlers based on their wicket taking abilities. I wasn't suggesting Botha and JP bowl at the death but these are the 6 bowlers I would use. Also a bit of a luxury batting all the way down to 9 and that has to date been our Achilles heal. Lower order. Bringing Botha into the mix has actually brought a bit of stability to the lower order surprisingly. Anyway they would never select this team but I would.

A bit risky going in with just one specialist paceman. I think the balance of our team is actually just fine the way it is. The only changes that should be contemplated is a paceman for a paceman (Morkel/Lopsy) or a batsman for a batsman (Faf/Ingram). van Wyk is a better keeper than AB, as long as he doesn't doze off :D
