My guess!
3 spinners + JP (if the pitch is turning!)
2 quicks + Kallis (hopefully he is fit to bowl)

Depending on pitch... then either Lopsy or Parnell comes in for Peterson.

That's a good team.Peterson could add some steel to the lower order as well.
 
getting excited now +/- 30 mins to the first ball, peterson will def add some dept to the lower order. to be honest my biggest concern is the middle and lower order.... if amla and smith misfire for any reason then the other guys really need to lift their game, we saw against india we can be weak if our openers depart cheaply ... lets hope we have none of that today though

GO PROTEAS !!!

i would love to see Amla get a century in this game :)
 
Heard the talk about the pitch... was newly laid after the ICC condemned it 2 years ago. This could impact on team selection.

Preview on Cricinfo discusses some "green specks"on that's track.

That said, I reckon they might go with just 2 spin bowlers + JP. Lopsy should play. Ingram or Faf?

Spin likely to be Botha :mad: and Peterson, at the expense of Tahir.

Not my ideal team, but what we can expect to see:

WHY WASTE TAHIR ????? Will make no sense if he has been selected in the squad and not used.

lol no actually i decided not to play fantasy league this tournament, too much effort keep switching players and keeping score etc

i just want amla to play well, when he does well we dont lose ...same can be said for smith too

I have four Saffies, Amla, Kallis, Tahir and Morkel, specifically for the game. Kallis is my captain for the game, so he better score a century and take a 5-for.

Edit : Lets hope he lives up to the hype...
