Cricket world cup discussion thread

At the rate they will be relegated to "Associate" or minnow status

Mind you, having to face Johnson, Lee and Tait at 9:30 in the AM I'd be inclined to just stay in the dressing room. That ain't no way to get a day going.

This game will be wrapped up in time to head over to watch the Irish hammer the Bangladeshis :D

Seems the Black Caps might have their minds elsewhere .... like three disaster in Christchurch? :(

Nice fight back by How & McCullum

NZ'z tail always seem to wag when they doen in the gutters.... reminds me of Pollock, Zulu, Boucher.... even Macmillan, Richardson and co.

Vetori should be batting six and adding stabilty to them.... Their top order has had a horrendous 12months in ODI's

Not sure if it's defendable, but gives the Black Caps half a chance. Never know how they'll pan out.

The Aussies seem really strong now and everyone was going on on how weak this Aus team is. They still look like ODI world champs to me.

Why because they thumped a poor england and nz team? Time will tell but beating england and nz does not make you unbeatable. The aussies won't win this world cup. The winning mentality never goes away until you play a decent side and not this rubbish england and nz team :D.

They are not strong anymore but they have a better side than england and nz for sure.

Will be interesting to see them up against Sri-Lanka and Pakistan.

Small consolation as Ponting goes cheaply :D
