Before the creepers arrive, no this doesn't have anything to do with surgery...

I'm using Crossover on my Mac to run some Windows-based applications.

I've successfully used it to create bottles of games and run them quite satisfactorily, so I know this works and I know the typical procedure.

I have MW3 and I want to install it so I can run. I have the Disk Images in .iso form

I cannot get it to successfully install, and I think this is probably due to my Mac Noobishness more than anything.

I have tried:
1) Mounting both images and copying the contents of the disks to a common folder and using that as the source for the install;
2) Mounting both images and simply telling Crossover to install from Image1

In both instances, it does successfully create the bottle, but then opens WINELoader and attempts a Windows-like install to a directory of my choice (haven't had this before).

What I then wind up with is a folder with the "install", but there is no runnable file. I do not even see any .exe files in there.

Seems like it is doing an incomplete Windows install instead of creating a proper bottle. Crossover however says the installation completed successfully etc, so I think this may be my ignorance.

Help please?

According to Steam there's a Mac OS version too.

So why are you trying to emulate if it can run natively?

Skip emulation bull****tery and just install Virtualbox with a Windows VM instead.

You can even boot it natively with Bootcamp should you feel the need, but takes some planning.
