Cruise control: do you use it?

So is the speed on the GPS more accurate???

Depends on the car manufacturer, most cars read higher i.e. 120km/h = 110km/h or there about. My Volvo however is dead on a accurate to the GPS speed.

The most frustrating thing about cruise control is the people who won't use it..

yep, that one arsehole that speeds 140km/h down the hill and then slows to 110km/h going up the other.

+1

And when you are really bored on the open road you time and overtake people with the +/-

Yeah thats Lots of fun, up there with counting windmills with the 4 yr old.

I have now reached an age where I get cramps in my legs after about 30 minutes - on cruise control it enables me to leg circulation exercises whilst driving

Most of my commute is on Wiliam Nicol, but whenever I do hit the highway then yes I use it, and in the XE I use Adaptive CC, feels very weird, but so convenient when you get used to it.
