My wife and I went on the Melody (sp) a few years ago. We paid and then they told us we can take 2 people with for free. We passed up on the offer, but you could do that and then you and your significant other can join your folks on the cruise.

Iirc the only catch was that we would have to share a cabin which has 2x single beds and 1x double bed.

Not to sure on the details...
