Crypto scammers ?

um you sorta do thats what fund managers do, thats exactly what the like of alexander forbes etc do

No, they do not trade actively every day/the whole time, that's what brokers do.

EDIT: I do not see fund managers going "OMG, Naspers dropped 5% today, they are the best, BUY BUY BUY"

If I had seen this last year I would've moved this straight from the "sketchy" column straight to obvious scam
(Also that little blurb about not needing FAIS licensing deeefinitely doesn't scream dirty)

LOL at "passive aggressive" portfolio, so you make the good returns, but it refuses to speak to you for days on end ...

Africrypt very likely owns no assets and all the money is definitely laundered and in anonymous crypto. Remember, this was an obvious scam operation, so liquidation will serve nothing for the victims. Hopefully, people will learn a lesson from all this.

I could have have just looked at the logo and known it was a scam.

Some interesting bits like
Darren Hanekom, founder of Hanekom Attorneys, said they were investigating the transfer of funds and it seemed that the funds were subjected to various dark web tumblers and mixers, resulting in severe fragmentation.

I highly doubt it was that much.that would place them at about 5x of mti. Simply not possible
Stranger things have happened, imagine if bigger brokerages/businesses had invested
("Badaspex" brought the liquidation in)

Ag it's always the same story. Someone (sometimes a brand new member) come asking if x is a scam. Not one full business day later, someone supportive or in some position at x magically finds thread as if Google knows by now to put it on page one (yes I know web trawling is a thing)and registers to answer

I just find the whole popcorn session entertaining normally, had the pleasure of seeing a few lately.
