Cryptocurrency Mining

Can someone point me in the right direction, I haven't mined ETH directly yet, which miner would I need and which pool would be considered the best? Nicehash Zcash is way down in profits atm so it's time to move elsewhere.

I'm using claymore with etherminer.org. They also have a zcash pool.

Coinbase / GDAX's Etherium crash - 99% lost in a matter of minutes
And this is the trouble with lack of regulation. Sounds like it was a single seller. Somebody lost out there...

Decided to mine another batch of Sia, see if I can't hold a bit more of this. Still very uncertain about the future of this coin when looking at the premise behind it, but yeah, it mines easy enough.

Hmm, maybe 'somebody' was trying to get crypto regulated.

Methinks margin calls mechanism is not yet viable for crypto, also why are they reimbrusing stop loss orders, is the whole idea not to close an order when the loss has been met and you take the punch ?

I received more pm's to join the WhatsApp groups than expected. I should have added everyone by now. Drop me a pm with your name and number if I've forgotten you / if you want to join.

Ok, I know there's a Facebook and WhatsApp group for noobs, but I just got my new 1080 installed and running. I registered an account at Luno and created a wallet account/address there. Nicehash also gave me a wallet address, so which one do I add on the miner app? I used the Luno one for now... Is that correct?

I used Luno address for a long time on Nicehashminer for a long time before switching to command line miner and dwarfpool. Worked well.

I think I'll just run NHM for a couple of days to get the hang of it all before switching to a CLI miner (which I'd prefer). Is Dwarfpool more profitable than Nicehash?
