Well done!
How warm does the garage get during the day - any direct sun on the building?
That thing will warm up any chilly room on a cool day.
Not too bad. It gets direct sunlight, but it's got nice high ceilings. Might put a fan in there, and I've been meaning to install a whirlybird too for a while, so might as well get that done sooner rather than later. That actually helps a lot.

Added the MikroTik any idea what I need to do to fix this:

ZEC: Stratum - Cannot connect to eu1-zcash.flypool.org:3443
ZEC: Stratum - Failed to connect, retry in 20 sec...

Finally got home and set up.

Config was pretty quick, and didn't take long. I then promptly proceeded to move it to the garage due to it sounding like a light aircraft ready for take off. I'll make it a little more suitable for a permanent placement, try to manage the dust and what not that goes along with it. A little concerned about the heat, but will keep an eye on it.

This means I have had to resort to using my 3G router, as I have choppy wifi in there on the best of days, so will check that out too. All in all, a happy chappie :)
Which antminer arrived? Daily currently?

L3+. Average profit over the last 12 hours at $23-odd. This is from the NHM app, where it's currently mining to.

I see a lot of restarts on the app when I look at workers, when looking at the miner uptime, or it will come back reporting "No active workers".

Looking at the miner itself, the uptime has been consistent since firing it up, so I suspect maybe some connectivity issues. I'll investigate today.

The Whirlybird and high ceilings will make a huge difference. Installing a fan should be easy. Also, consider this to direct the air directly into the ceiling:

I think it's time for an asic thread...

It should be easy to DIY on this type of silencer using 2x buckets duct taped together with holes cut in the bottoms / pipe duct taped to the bottom.

I had this too. Look for my previous thread on it. Bitmain suggested reloading firmware and troubleshooting by having one board connected at a time. It seems it's not just us, there are others having the same 'issues' but personally I think it's a software glitch that doesn't really affect overall output.

I actually considered the whole cooler box idea when I looked at GPU mining. I think if you can have unobstructed airflow into and out of it, and with some proper channelling, it'll do the trick. At the time it was a drive more towards keeping dust and stuff out more so than for the sake of noise management, but I reckon there's merit.

Hi, has anyone here actually ordered from Crypto Tagoc?

Reason for asking is they have L3+ for sale with a 7-9 day delivery. Sounds good but I know my brother has ordered the A4 from them but it's apprantly stuck in customs (3 weeks)

Don't wanna fork out 52k to get a generic answer of its in customs.

Why are they getting stuck at customs. Its just a pc of sorts

Best I get from my brother is an issue with the clearing agent. I know customs have been a little slow of late but Innosilicon uses DHL for shipping so something has gone wrong somewhere.

Rather order directly from Bitmain if/when they have stock, it's much cheaper, and you can choose DHL or FEDEX for delivery, I had no issues getting mine, just pay the duties and customs when it arrives (courier company will invoice you), also I don't trust the local guys, unless they can prove they have it physically in stock. Everyone is jumping on the bandwagon and there are a lot of cheats out there, you gotta do your homework.

Would love to order directly from Bitmain but every time I tried the website refused to open or the wonderful website is experiencing high traffic loads.. Innosilicon are / were still taking orders but they have a 3 unit minimum.
