Hi All

So I found it quite easy to purchase Bitcoin (Luno) - No problem there.
How would I go about purchasing the smaller currencies like NEO or Ripple? Is this possible from South Africa?

But to answer your question, you can create an account on one of the many exchanges eg. Poliniex or Bitrexx. You then transfer some BTC to that account, and then use that to trade for other currencies. I would however recommend doing some thorough reading before you venture into that territory.

i used jaxx wallet ( which connects to shapeshift) to do my first few changes between BTC and others.

unfortunately ripple wasn't available via shapeshift /jaxx - i resorted to one of the other exchanges (kraken)

You can shapeshift with jaxx wallet.

Or transfer btc to poloniex and buy it on there.
