Yeah I feel you pain. Reason I bought myself a PS3 recently so I don't have to pay R4000 every few months to play full settings.
Gaming on a console is not the same as gaming on a PC at full settings.
Imo having a powerful PC rig in this day and age just isn't worth it. Almost more than half of the PC games are ports from console versions. Back in 2003, or whenever Half Life 2 was released, it was well worth it. Theres very few PC exclusives available (If any, I can't think of any). Mass Effect 2 looks amazing on PC, yeah it also looks good enough on PS3 to not warrant wasting so much extra cash on a PC upgrade. Anyway I would love to try Crysis 2 on my PC, but I think my 9600GT would die

I LOL'd at the Waaaaaaaaaaaaagggghhhh in that video of yours, somebody must have walk off the building somewhere in the map, or it could've been you screaming because it looks like that (just joking
). I also think you should be able to play it medium detail, but it looks more like a driver issue to me.Yuu

, as for the game, i logged in no problems lastnight but when on the igame servers, idling on the loadout screen is not fun. Perhaps a small issue. I did get into one of the servers but machine was acting up :/

You use hamachi to create a VPN and then you would use something like RealVNC to remotely control your pc. imo, teamviewer is better.
Anyway, Maybe look at getting another 5770 or sell your and get something better. I never liked the 5770 cards, cause I even had lag in CODMW2 at max settings...

Game runs great @1920 x 1080 on gamer setting, and is even playable on advanced . I've got a HD4850 and Core 2 duo E8400. 2GB ram, Win 7. Yay for me!

Finally someone else who agrees with me. Its utter poo, not worth spending money on it (upon release for me at least), basically a carbon copy of cod with a nanosuit.
I'll grab when it hits the EA budget range

An epic failure IMO. Played crysis 1 and then wars to death BECAUSE it was different.... now crysis 2 is just a COD remake with a broken nanosuit. Lasted 30 mins on my rig and now that it is uninstalled I am seriously considering burning my rig just to make sure there are no traces that I ever tried to play such a sorry excuse for a crysis sequel. It's sad really

I played the original Crysis and Wars and I have to say I prefer Crysis 2. Its more action packed and hopefully it will draw more people with the shiny trinkets.
The game runs like charm on my medium PC, unlike Crysis that still stutters, so I guess they did something right. (Incidently, Makarov, your PC should be able to run the game smooth, my specs are actually a bit below yours.)
Login is a bit of a bugger, you can log in with your old Crysis details, but it happened several times that I can't log in, some problem with my network. Once I am in, I can't play on any iGame server, most of the time I play on overseas servers, with minimal lag, so that helps.
Since this is the demo, I hope that the small problems will be sorted by the time the game arrives, it will at least give us something to play until BF3.
