Crysis 2 PC Demo 1 March

Thjis game is utter crap, my settings are well capable, but it does not work, i cannot stand EA and their games, they must use the same guy over and over for multiplr games to make the side hud with what gun and how many bullets left, i think they use the same bloody font, poor direct x usage and bad player movement, they used to be ok at driving games, but even that the controls have gone to ****,i will stay far away from any thing that has to do with EA, fantastic Demo EA!
 
Unable to login to even start playing. I wanted to create an account but apparently I have one - so I went to the website to try and retrieve my password but the site fails... Oh well...

Lol, don't blame the game or EA for your crap PC. :) EA don't make all the games, they are just the publisher behind it. I'm actually the other way around. I'll try to only buy EA games. Their games are usually cheaper, EA ps3 games is about 40% cheaper. They have a superior online service, good online support and their games usually work the first time round. Even the demo of Crysis 2 is working better than Blops currently.

Funny that - I have to play Blops with the Dutch (usually great fun) because of Telkom. Crysis was a whole heap better but I did notice a bit of stuttering on the Pier 17 map. Possibly some lag?
 
1920x1200 Hardcore settings on my pc and it runs fine. I also had the server "waiting" thing, but then I remembered that you can only play crash site after you have leveled, so joined another server and was able to play.

My account that I created yesterday morning, isn't working in the game, but on the mycrysis website, it does. I created another account in game to test (k@k_game where @=a) and that works, though I struggle to join servers, as it keeps on saying, server full, even though I have changed the filters to not show full servers... :(

I think I will give this one a pass and wait for Portal2 and DNF.
 
Hmmmm, the reaction to this demo seems quite mixed.
Busy downloading it and will try it for myself this afternoon, before I do the whole pre-order thingie.

Yep download it and see for yourself, I have no issues with the game... was never going to buy this for the muliplayer though but nice to see what the graphics are like.

If I buy it, it will be mostly for MP.
But from the few video clips I saw of it from the NAG disc..... it seems quite lekker.
 
I have to say, I didn't notice any lag in the demo, not like we have with blops.

Stealth is p!$$ cool. :D But I have to check the key config still, don't know what the other buttons are for armor and stuff...
 
downloaded this last night but got a bit errr... .. incapacitated and passed out before it was finished installing.

Will play when I get home :D

Its Q and E as default. Saw a guy do a floor slide thing, no idea how to do that.
One thing I do notice is a lot of foreigners on our servers, 200 plus pings and random languages in the chat. On the server I was on last night there were maybe 4 guys with sub 100 pings.

COD players will love this game. Hardcore Crysis & Crysis Wars players see it as an insult.
 
This game play much better than Crysis 1 on my PC -- it's very smooth and I don't even have a gaming PC:
Pentium E5300 | 2GB RAM | GTS250

only problem i have is just that game refuses to work with g35, you need reinstall the damn thing to get 2.1 only then it works, so stupid :/
