I was with openweb and had the same issues everyone has now with them.
Then Shaun decided to do his own thing and start an ISP, (by the people, for the people). He recruited me via PM, I cancelled OW, waiting for the month notice, and did not look back eversince, until now.
Sure there were some teething issues, but it was not as bad as the state of the network is now. The last few years on CW were good, but is doea not seem to be worth it anymore.

International is dead again. What alternatives are there, because I think it's time. Saw similar issues on Vox threads a few months ago, so not convinced about them at the moment.
So Shaun must be shaken in his boots with people leaving CW during this time then.
Who would be the go-to-ISP this time around in your mind?
Afrihost seems fairly cheap but I have heard conflicting reports on them. Ditto for WA. Guess you have to try an ISP and see.
I take what I said back. Port reset and vox account is working perfectly =)Just signed up a vox data account. Seems unstable too with regards to latency

Vumatel says Vox is one of their top ISP customer choices for fibre
+1I came from AH, I'd rather have AIDS than going through that again, thanks. Their support is even worse than CW currently.
By what metric?
The thing I like about CW is they don't have a heart attack every month when I abuse my internet, Mweb used to call me on a very regular basis to tell me that I'm over some imaginary threshold.
I am wiling to bet all ISP's have gone through the same transition to a new network and had teething issues, it might be worth it to stick it out, or is there any other ISP recommended for a very heavy internet user that doesn't cost an arm ad a leg?
