Yes. And I'm on business. All the home packages are crap. Finally someone is trying to make a decent home account and you're trying to bring them down to the current level of crap.

No need to behave like a kid, I was doing nothing of the sort. We're still trying to figure out what ISP you are with in the other thread btw.

All the best to the CW team for the official launch tomorrow :)

Will the site be up & running then with prices, T & C's etc? - I'd like to open a small capped account for testing and to show my support.

Hi Mick,

Many thanks for the words of encouragement and support. Tomorrow is not our official launch at all. We're releasing a few accounts to mybroadband users and tomorrow many of these go live. Numerous users are already happy customers of Crystal Web and have been for up to a month already.

Our launch is still a few weeks off, where we'll hopefully have our entire suite of products available, many of which we are keeping to ourselves for now. Expect more surprises over the coming months from Crystal Web...

Everyone waits till the 1st of a month to launch something. Show that you are different and launch on 15th June. :p

If I have a 100 Gig capped account and use up the 100 Gigs before the end of the month, what are the options?
Would it be possible to convert to a 200 Gig account just for that month and then revert back to the 100 Gig account the following month?

Thank god it is tomorrow a new dawn with CW. Getting tired of this magical 50% throttle and AH...

You sure can, no problem, but for the time being we will issue another account for the 2nd 100 gigs.

Once our capped products are properly launched this will be far easier and simpler. Some great things happening in that space on our end...

EFT made, Support Phoned and pop mailed. Counting down the hours.

Unfortunately I saw this a day to late. I could not cancel my ISP in time and will have to do another month, but I did sign up and will join from July.
Pity I could not start this from June.

Could not cancel mine as well. Sacrifice one month of take aways like me. :D

Who's behaving like a kid?

You're complaining that 24/hour support will cost more. That implies you'd rather give up the extra support for a cheaper price.

And my ISP is in my sig. It's not that hard. At least kids read.

So the site is not up yet / company not trading, how did everyone get to hear about it and sign up?
Is this related to a forumite? I recall reading something about DJ earlier?

When you run a business one day you'll figure that one out. I'm stating that you can't expect 24x7 support without paying for it. Thats not a complaint, it's fact.

Webafrica Business - I've been with them and moved after disappointing speeds. I moved to them right after Mweb tanked. What I will give them is that they at least give clients a clue as to whether they're close to the throttling edge or not.

I'd gladly pay for the added benefit. It's like insurance, you may think of it as a waste, but the day you need it you will be god damn happy you do. (Heard or saw this somewhere I think)

The website is a component of the launch
A website and launch is unrelated to whether a company is trading. Crystal Web (Pty) Ltd is trading and in open for business. As with many business startups we have engaged with the process of client relationship building before launching a public drive to attract customers. Two of the directors of the company are members of this forum (myself and DJ) and naturally discussions on the business came into the forum especially when customers who were actively seeking a new ISP received test accounts.
As soon as uptake as a result of this forum began Crystal Web has had a customer representative, and we have been truly humbled by the level of positive interest this business has generated.

An ISP without a website is one of life's ironies, much like the fact that in order to have my internet enabled at University I secured a handwritten note stamped by the Registrar. The website is being developed in order to automate processes whereas our current activities are built around building and testing processes and preparing contingencies.

Of course I understand that.

Hence why said if you want a cheaper ISP without 24hour support that's your choice. I'd rather pay for the better quality of service thanks.

What are you smoking? You seem especially thick today.

Dude, enough with the emotional outbursts, seriously. Throwing around insults is just poor form.
Nobody's disagreeing with you on the choice thing.

Take it to pm and keep to CW feedback please.
