can't q binaries because the nzb wont even download :/

you even missed it while quoting me :( serious?

I didn't miss it:(. That was why I asked. Last communication from CW was 5 August. Now Cybersmart said Wednesday 06 August 2014:

CYBERSMART MAINTENANCE

Dear Cybersmart Customer

Cybersmart's network upgrade is now within its final stages.

We've tested and further maintenance needs to be carried out on the 5th of August 2014 from 00h00 to 04h00. Customers in Durban, Johannesburg and surrounding areas may experience slow to intermittent international connectivity during this time.

We have adjusted our dates and customers should expect improved performance on Wednesday, 06.08.2014.

We know you are as excited as we are and we thank you for your continued support and understanding.

Previous comment from cybersmart was also the 5th so it makes sense... No?

Yes but the first email says had 5th aug as E.T.A. CW also said they were not the ones implementing the fix , 1+1=2 , should be obvious who is doing the fix :P

Noticing the news server works for a while, then returns a incorrect login 502 error and freaks out until I restart...

I downloaded a 5GB game via Steam in about 3 hours. Networx indicates that it was done at an average of 421kB /s on my 4Mbps line.
Happy.
Thx CW.

Agree'd with all others. Gaming seems to be working like a gem now ;)
Thanks for all the hard work in the background CW.

Sadly, this end, international net is hardly functioning; big packet loss and websites timing out; gaming isn't possible either. Looking forward to the 6th with each passing moment :P

Oh please just because eastern cape and gauteng are having problems doesn't mean we all are.....i'm not problem-less but most of the day i can at least manage 200-300kb and at the good hours 800kBps
....revenge for that **** afrihost unc pulls in western cape lol
The Eastern Cape having performance issues is a massive problem. The most important site for performance is Jeffrey's Bay

If need be we will route out all of Cape Town if it would fix PE and surrounds connectivity - but it won't, so you are safe ... for now
:p

Great place to de-stress.
