So in essence move your downloads to a VPS (yay, save us some international bandwidth), automate them, put them into a proper folder structure, setup your network to allow secure connection from only your machines to that VPS, recreate your library entirely, set it up with SQL to update the paths correctly, and effectively stream from your VPS each time on a local connection. Host the VPS on a decently peered network with us and we're all happy.

Nice, but when I say locally I mean like a server in my house somewhere. I used to get this right waaaay back when I shared my net connection via proxy. When my wife clicked the same YouTube vid it played instantly. The idea behind this is, if we both use lets say the same vodlocker link that her tab will stream the video from my server instead of vodlocker again.

Not necessarily true at all.

I think you've got quite a pessimistic view of us, which is sad.

We've also stated already that we don't believe in this home and business nonsense but rather products that are tailored for specific usage scenarios.

In CS:GO playing as "BOT Mike" with 5ms ping (lowest the indicator goes) and some people think I'm actually a bot :P

you are reaching a conclusion entirely unpremised on any facts relating to our business model or operational culture - we cannot speak as to other providers and companies

Many - if not most - of our current customer base understand the need for premium and entry products and that the difference in product requirements are not on a home vs business line. An increasing number of DSL customers in South Africa are SOHO customers and "homes" are multiple device environments which makes the distinction on pricing and quality of service on this idea of "business" to be artificial and inherently wrong - as well as detrimental to long term capacity planning.
