Rather contact support with these sorts of queries please guys, otherwise the thread gets littered with personal-one-liners specific to customer accounts which we prefer not to do.

last time i asked support(paul) about usage he told me no AUP existed yet so he couldn't say, do you guys finally have an idea now then?
 
I never said there was no AUP - Acceptable Use Policy
there is no FUP - Fair Use Policy - and we have many ideas in mind BUT they will only be introduced with appropriate notice, and hopefully several options ...

ahh yeh sorry i just kind of think of them as the same thing :P(i know they are not but meh)

you shouldn't - it is one of the many things we are working to educate the market on

I know aup is based on what your downloading. FUP is how much your downloading.... if you want to break it to the absolute minimum explainations

end of the day both limit what you can download :P so meh same thing
 
nope AUP has little to do with downloading at all - the Acceptable Use Policy defines what you cannot do on the network without it constituting abuse: distributing child pornography, sending spam, engaging in harassment or stalking of people, planning to take over a country, circumventing network security measures

an FUP is a policy measure to ensure that resources are more fairly used, coupled with shaping policies and so forth it is the way it becomes possible to introduce consumer Internet services
 
Please don't take over countries using our network, without our express permission.

Thats what i meant...AUP is rules about what you can download. and Fair use is how much :/ i did say absolute minimum explanations
perhaps i should have given a more broad term like "usage" rather than "download" :P
 
O also before anybody asks, permission will not be granted to use our services to take over the moon
