NOD32 picked it up also (chrome), but I think it was just one of the popup's as when I closed that, then it was happy.

Nod32 sees everything as a friggin virus.
Microsoft security essentials is 10x better.

Last night there were quite a few issues streaming via Hulu.
Quality changed continually through the evening and often buffered.
I did however watch a live youtube stream of SA mens Hockey and it streamed just fine albeit at reduced quality.

Tried playling Diablo 3 on Sunday, but my poor Barb lagged so badly it seemed to me he was on "Crystal Meth" when I engaged elite packs

Hope this issue gets resolved soon

Interesting.
During the day yesterday everything worked really well.
Myself and my son were gaming simultaneously while my wife streamed orange is the new black.
PC for me and xbox for my son.

We had low pings, it ran really well.

It called it "potentially unwanted" :)

This was between 1pm-4pm, when I switched to another ISP it was fine. I didnt have any other issues with Crystal Web, NNTP 100% and streaming i had no issues. Maybe just bad timing, ill try it again properly tonight

Nod32 is potentially unwanted.
Nod32 works just as it is supposed to.
You can set it to ignore "potentially unwanted" threats/programs.

It is one of the best AV packages out there, especially when it comes to resources.

I personally want to be warned of Adware threats & injectors.

Lol - still, I have more trust in eset than some free software from MS.

NOD32 is expensive yes, but it's super fast and takes minimal resources.

I used to pay for Nod32 but noticed my system performance degrading.
I decided to give Microsoft security essentials a try and it found multiple viruses nod never found.
That was enough for me to uninstall it.
No issues since.

Anyway, let's not go further off topic.

I need uncapped interwebs.. no shaping.. no throttling. All these ISP's do it now.

Personally i don't like it. As ISP's sell you an "idea" of no limits and that you don't have to count every gig you download.

With an AUP it basically takes you back to counting gigs.

Hi,

I just want to check as the issues with international connectivity been sorted out for the original accounts?

Regards
Wesley

Dont think so Wesley, they were talking about a perma fix by the end of the month. There is some people on here who do not have any issues and some that have here and there.

Question for the Streamers. Which sport sites do you stream your sport from?

That depends really.
I use youtube, ace stream or wiziwig Flash streams.
Occasionally Supersport but it's more of a chore than anything.

There has been some improvement on the performance but not sufficient for us to be satisfied
The solution really has to come on stream rather than is something to be "fixed"

I have tried wiziwig flash, acestream and sopcast. For me the best by far has been sopcast -the only service whereby I have been able to watch the Boks, French Open and All Blacks play in HD (1500Kb) stream without skipping a beat. This is done in my browser and not via XBMC. Although Sopcast has a cool feature where once you have found the stream you can open it in XBMC.
