All early bird customers are getting their news server caps removed for a while. Yes, that's right - completely unlimited for you! This may result in occasional authentication issues over the next few hours while we finish development, but your patience will be heavily rewarded!

You will now have access to the best news server in the world (we think), absolutely free. Gratis. Nada. Nothing.

'cos we love our customers and believe it's the least we can do for the minor issues we've had here and there.

Awesome!!!!! Been waiting for this...Even though I have not officially started with CW:D
 
Still getting auth issues, ticket 760216103

Do we still mail sales for support? I can't get into the web ticket system. 404 error

Even paying for Netflix and other legal services is illegal in SA. So yeah if you don't watch it over DSTV it is illegal, no matter what. So in the end rather focus on our illegal streaming providers when it comes to shaping, because we all are going to use it lol. I said this the other day as well.
I don't blame CW for not responding but I hope they are working on it in the background because streaming from anything other than Hulu & G2G is painful.
 
just sent my mail to sign-up. only 1 August though, due to OW's stoopid policy.

Having said that, my OW acc isn't bad, but I'd far sooner support forumites giving it a go. (until Telkom give me FTTH :P).

Happy to beta test anything if its needed.

Hi,

You need to limit your concurrent connections to 15. Yours hit 16 last night which caused the auth issue.
 
Streaming the worldcup using Supersport was mostly good. Had a couple of issues where the streaming stopped completely for a couple of minutes and it would continue as nothing happened. Streaming Youtube and Netflix without any issues.

Been ecstatic about the speeds over the past 2 weeks; they are phenomenal and I'm really enjoying the inclusive exclusive news server as well.

@CW - any ETA when shaping will be implemented?

Also note that as we get closer to official launch we are implementing our actual development resources, which means that we have closed the existing customer portal to make way for an even better Crystal Customer Portal. For now support will still work via email, and will always continue to work that way, but other support options are now being integrated into our backend systems to make things even better for you.

There is already shaping being applied, but minimal here and there. Very happy to hear that you're not even noticing it. This was always our intention.

As an aside, we will be reverting to our claimed shaping policy soon. p2p and nntp shaping only during the day. This is a complex development process as well, so is not yet ready, but will make your experience even better moving forward.

Yep, have to say that Netflix has been performing excellently.

Dropped it to 10, same issue (support ticket 760236216). Tries two connections and then it dies ( Failed login for server [502 Authentication failure (no token)] )

You could always search or try a different nzb - there are dozens of options for each file. But yes, there's nothing that anyone can do about a DMCA notice.
