You can download the internet as long as its not with P2P/NNTP

We shape p2p and nntp traffic. We have a temporary policy in place that shapes p2p and nntp on a rolling usage basis until we launch our full customer relation agreement that involves shaping p2p and nntp only during business hours and released dynamically thereafter.

We're going to keep the AUP as pure and simple as possible.

Also on the FUP side, we don't have a threshold on usage at all yet. But if we do ever introduce one, we'll make it fair, and also give our customers options to avoid being negatively affected by it. We actually see any FUP introduction if it ever happens on our end as an opportunity to limit costs for users rather than us. Remember that our management is made up of loyal mybroadband members for years. We know what users want, and we're doing everything we can to ensure that you can make the best connection with Crystal Web.

Thanks for the kind words. Launch has not yet happened. I can assure you, you will know when we've launched officially. We've only released a small portion of our offering to mybroadband users so far. There is so much more in the pipeline here.

Hi mika,

I did reply to your PM to us, but the authentication starts at 2am and rolls out in a staggered fashion. Last month we made the mistake of loading the systems at midnight which caused authentication problems and we've learned from that. Instead we now release the authentications from 2am onwards to ensure no authentication problems when most normal people wake up.

As a part of the abnormal community, we stay up until whatever time is necessary to ensure that all new customers are connected.

Patience is a virtue we're also learning on our end.
