That doesn't look too professional, not that I have an issue with it as it give the information it's supposed to and it will look much better once the full website is launched I'm sure - with a whole bunch more information.
Well then I hope you have fun with any other ISP that you move to who doesn't have such open and honest support...
Running an ISP is not a trivial thing, finding issues is even less trivial when you are jacking into the Internet and trying to get the routing correct so that everyone experiences decent internet speeds, and it also doesn't help that they only have control of a very small portion of the bits that can cause you personally an issue.
But clearly its just not me having issues........
Sigh dude go read back a few pages the fix was done by a third party relax take a breath and wait a day....i'm sure they are going through hell right now they have been delaying their launch for a while now which should tell you that they don't think this is a product ready to launch yet, Im sure if they had launched by now they would have sold at least 10 times more accounts than they have now so that in itself should have been your "disclosure of problems"...Have abit of empathy and let them try to fix it. whenever they have a "fix" and it breaks something i assure you they are more stressed than you are.But clearly its just not me having issues........
No, its not.. but the internet is a massively complicated thing... the issues you have may or may not be related to similar issues other people are having, this is why they ask for that information constantly so that they can narrow down where the issue is happening. If its something they have control over, they fix it, if its not they pass it onto their partner or supplier and try get them to fix it and so on....
Just as an idea, between you and Crystal Webs own network there are probably 5 - 20 completely seperate pieces of hardware that could be causing issues, some of which will be localised to your connection, and others to an area. And after Crystal Webs network, when you go to a website, you could literally be handed off onto hundreds if not thousands of different pieces of hardware...(and I'm just talking network hardware here, not servers or anything of the sort)
Ok if they said that right after you told them you already said that you talked earlier and their was found to be no congestion/fault then that is just .................Paul get that guy on carwash dutyLet me paste a bit of a transcript of the support this afternoon, and thats were my fury started.
Crystal Clear Support Agent: The pathping was going to help us determine if there is a line fault or exchange congestion.
Now that made me see red. Every Isp under the sun always wants to lay blame at the customers feet, after i already stated to him i tested that part just fine with my afrihost account. And take into consideration this was my second time today with them and they already determined my exchange and line was fine. I mean and the second time contacting support i just wanted a update why is the net still so slow!
hahahahahahaha - I already saw your IP !!!! Nice recovery though !
Ha but we know your login tooDammit. Lol, not that you'll be able to do anything with it anyways![]()
