Crystal web Preemted a possible problem.

Thanks CW, You identified a possible problem on you network,
As a part of our proactive support we’ve identified a bug in our auto-provision system. In case this system doesn’t work as intended, we’ve provisioned a separate account manually for you, and the log in details are below.

And sent me details what to do if the issue occurs, which never happened. The is Pro-Active management to the utmost... Hats Off & all round of applause!

Skrewed again tonight :(

Not even getting 200kbps and 300+ ping

It's not my connection or exchange either as other isps run fine.

I was disconnected from GT6 lobbyabout about an hour ago.

Not sure if it was a PSN /GT6 or ISP issue.

D3 pings all over the place tonight. 400ms to 3000ms, with about 7 seconds worth of response time.

Just logged on to a trial account and back to sub 200ms.

Could have been us, I'm afraid. Apologies. There are quite a few reports of issues across quite a few areas this evening that we're investigating. Affecting customers across the network and across geographical locations so something that needs a fair bit of investigating to get to the root cause.

Please send this to support by email.

I really cannot stress how important it is that you guys do this for us, so that we can properly map out the issues - we absolutely cannot do so via the forum, as 1) it's run by management and we're really not first tier support; and 2) the cross-referencing of forum names to accounts is a real PITA. Help us help you - send the info to [email protected] so we can look into it properly.

If it only stays on the forum, we can do absolutely nothing about it, other than ask you to send us the info, so all it does is create additional work for everyone.

By all means report it here though - but use first line support first so that at least we have an official record of it and can try to resolve things quicker for you.

Help me help you. :p

In my case, I wasn't bitching, just gave feedback when I saw other guys were having gaming issues.

Next time it happens, I will do so.

Just posted it here as a public heads up :) Don't have time for supporting right now, we got greater rifts to run!

Also, can you pop me a PM regarding capped packages? I have a friend on WebAfrica capped, so perhaps I can convince him to move over.

Launch pls :)

Jip, same here, fifa pretty much unplayable tonight. High 400+ ping to Europe, reset router, flushed dns, gave up and played on WA. Will bring it to support's attention as well.

Hi All,

Last week I changed over to the CW 10Mbps Fusion Account. I'm generally happy with the account - streaming and browsing is fantastic.

I am however concerned over the P2P shaping. I'm not a massive downloader (I average around 150-250 a month which includes streaming, etc.). I was advised to schedule my P2P from 24:00 to 06:00 which I have been doing. My concern is that over the past 4 evenings I average around 100 KB/s.

In peak hours this shoots up to almost line speed. I assume this will come to an end once my unshaped data portion runs out.

To manage my expectations, is this what I can expect from the account going forward? Possibly it's not the right fit for my requirements?

Appreciate the advice.

I suggest you contact support about this. Mine runs faster than that at night (and I have a 2 Mbps line).

This is in all likelihood not related to the account but perhaps contention at your exchange. Most home users schedule their downloads for this time and in congested areas when these mass downloads all fire off at once they can often congest before they hit our network.

Thank you for the feedback.

Your comments make sense but I haven't experienced this before with my previous ISP.

I will monitor over the next few weeks.
