Hi guys,

I saw on Crystal Webs site that you need to get 20 people to show interest in your area and they will roll fibre out,
I am in South Crest ( A very tiny suburb, that's often overlooked ) and im going to get those 20 people to sign up via door 2 door and whatsapp groups, but before I do this, I'd like to know if Crystal Web is reliable and will it be worth my time to go and convince 20 people to show interest?

Thanks guys.

im on crystal web relly happy with the service of the staff and on the quality of the line. didnt have downtime when Seacom went down either.

Look at their feedback thread. A lot of us have had terrible service with them.

I have, cancellation has been sent.

A **** load.
Many.
More than I can count on my hands.
A significant amount.

Is it my imagination or are you overdoing the CW bashing thing?
In the world of ISPs nobody runs perfect AFAIK. I'm pretty sure many many CW clients feel extremely happy with them.
Do you think elsewhere will be a day & night difference?

Yep, Vox is currently good for me.

My gripe with Crystal Web is the lack of communication.

Completely agreed. If you get good service, it's good. If it's bad, there's no feedback on what they are doing to resolve issues. And no one contacts you to find out exactly why you're cancelling either, so no customer retention program.

Cancellation for me was only after I had already spoken to support several times and been escalated several times. If they managed to fix the issues before my cancellation date there's a chance I would keep them, but since they don't care, I don't either.

Actually yeah, I'm one of them.

So we're up to 2 now? Yawn, wake me up when the feedback thread explodes with 100 posts overnight every night for weeks on end. I'm not saying that you and whoever else are not having a bad time, but as always its the people with a problem that are going to be the loudest.

Alright thanks for the replies guys, all have been noted. ;)

I have began the hunt for 20 people to register lmao.

Unlike many others around here, instead of making a scene I just move to an ISP that works for me.
Unfortunately, as of late Vox has been dropping the ball as well - but has been a superb choice for a long time.

Either way, this thread was closed by OP so moving on :)

No it wasn't lol

We only need 10 more sign ups. Say we get the 10 what is the turn around time for installation usually. Need to get rid of ADSL. A worry everyday if my ADSL is still working when i get home.

Are you from South Crest?
