Crystal Web / Vumatel feeding back DDos issues resolved - your experience?

CW technical support told me the issues impacting Vuamtel fibre customers in terms of DDos attacks and slow International bandwidth have now been 'fully' resolved.

Tough to determine because local Speednet tests would 'mostly' give 50/50 which is my package even when there was an issue and international speed tests can be inconsistent

Funny enough my Kindle DL's have started working again.

My cancellation is still in with them for end Aug but don't want the mission if issues have been resolved.

Would appreciate feedback from any 'CW / Vumatel' customers on this?
 
Seems to be resolved for me. im on the 100/100 package. yes during the DDoS attack had impacted me (slightly i must say). I do notice now that connecting to an international server is a lot faster.
 
HTTP download at 100% line speed yesterday afternoon.
So if the attack is still ongoing, it's been mostly mitigated from my PoV.

I was experiencing (as late as yesterday) problems accessing certain USA-based websites.

I was also having Kindle download problems.

Following your post I re-tested and found all - including the Kindle D/L - to be now working. Happiness !!

Obviously YMMV.
 
Does anyone know if XB live is operation since the resolution notice? I have temporarily given my Xbox away since I could not use it for the past couple of weeks
 
Can also very happily report that my Plex Media server can stream outside the network as well, this morning it couldn't

Looks like all is good again
