Helpdesk told me all openserve fibre users are currently down from wednesday. Anyone out here having the same issue?
 
Yes. Offline with no concrete timelines when I phone them. That is if they pick up.
 
Yes Offline - Same problem as with ADSL. They cant fix the problem.

Good luck with that. Couldn't get hold of Openserve this weekend. Fiber still offline and i still don't exactly know what is wrong. Also still no communication from Crystalweb on the situation.

They are basically going out of business. You need to cancel with them and then try your best to get your line moved into the holding pool. I will update here if I have any success but getting no feedback from Openserve or Telkom at this point.

I have also requested a refund of my December payment from billing as per this:

i cancelled last week. The issue is now the same as yours. Getting the line back into the holding pool so that i can move to the new isp

If you have any luck please post guidance here - I will do the same.
 
I have just canceled as well, let see if they come back, I have been trying to get hold of the manager for over 3 hours. I think that they are going out of business, thank god I did not pay my December bill.

ok, so to give you all a heads up all our lines that are not active are sitting in the holding pool, I was able to get mine on to Afrihost this morning no confirmation from Crystal Web as to if the line was released. Took a chance called Afrihost went through to there fiber support told he the **** happening at Crystal and they checked to see if my line was in the holding pool and it was I was able to sign up and move over with in 2 hours

Awesome news - am following up with new ISP.
 
Where do you get your B number from?
Got it the last time i moved from Axxess to Crystal web, try to contact the support on the chat featrue and ask for your fiber line number it should start with a B

There's been another wave of suspensions by Openserve, and most lines should have been moved into the holding pool by now.

Nice to see that they're changing the branding to be more clear about who you're talking to.

Call up Telkom only if you're going to move your fibre line to Telkom Internet to be managed separately or as a bundle. If you want another ISP to manage it, contact them instead.

If it's an Openserve line, you can give them your street address. The database they have includes B numbers as well as contact info linked to your street address.
 
Confirmed - my line was in the holding pool.
Have just signed up to a new ISP.
I got my B number through CrystalWeb chat.
Cool Ideas confirmed via phone that line is in the holding pool.

I can confirm the same. I cancelled this morning and they told me a few minutes ago that it will take two days. I phoned Cool ideas with my B number and they confirmed that my line is already in the holding pool and they could grab it.
