Crystalweb Openserve fibre

I have just been told my line is with Afrihost but the line is suspended, they are trying to find out what they can do! But I am still with out Internet

If it's an Openserve line, you can give them your street address. The database they have includes B numbers as well as contact info linked to your street address.

That is the problem who do you contact from open serve you have to go through telkom and they look for your id number or account number so they don’t find you. My problem is that the line has been suspended so even though i have moved to afrihost the line is suspended I think due to non payment! Now I can’t get hold of anyone at open serve to see if I can get it um-suspended

The problem is that neither Openserve nor Afrihost's systems and APIs were designed to deal with the possibility of a customer's lines being suspended and then moved into the holding pool. Normally suspended or disconnected lines get decommissioned after nonpayment, but the lines were suspended without being decommissioned, so there are unexpected anomalies (and it was suspension from Openserve's end to the ISP, whereas the system was designed for ISPs to suspend the client for nonpayment).

Every line that has an issue with the access service needs to be dealt with individually, and that's going to take a lot of time. The manual intervention requires that whoever at Afrihost is in charge of fixing the problem needs to pick up the phone and deal with Openserve directly to have the line unsuspended and moved manually.

That's a job for @AfriMan to oversee and supervise that someone competent handles the mess.

So Afrihost sorted me out within 24 hours, got my line active again and we are up and running. If any other crystal web victim out there please consider Afrihost they are very willing to help to get us up and running again

For those of you still dealing with issues that prevent your line from being taken out of the holding pool at Openserve and moving it to another ISP, please DM me your email addresses.

so i called cool ideas with my B number and they actually took it over as it was already in the pool. Seems like crystalweb lost all that lines

I phoned Afrihost with my B number and sob story. They were able to put in a migration request and we should be up and running in 48 hours.

ok, so to give you all a heads up all our lines that are not active are sitting in the holding pool, I was able to get mine on to Afrihost this morning no confirmation from Crystal Web as to if the line was released. Took a chance called Afrihost went through to there fiber support told he the **** happening at Crystal and they checked to see if my line was in the holding pool and it was I was able to sign up and move over with in 2 hours Tutuapp 9apps Showbox

Hey, you will need to contact afrihost and ask to speak to the fiber support. Tell them what is happening ask them to check if your line is in the pool, then you will need to supply them with your B number. If it is sign up with them and took 24 hour. Hope you come right
