Completely forgot to tune in for the match. Was working

Pity the best Warriors XI was not on the park last night.
Top wicket taker, Birch, and best spinner, Harmer, left out due to CSA quota system. Pathetic.

I just think it absolutely bazaar that the Warriors would play Adams against the Titans... twice.
Anyway... hopefully the solid performance by the Warriors this season will catch the attention of some potential sponsor.

Is the Champions Trophy still a thing? Warriors and Titans qualify, correct?

Thought it was T20 tournament. All the winning teams from their respective local tournaments (IPL winner and other top 3 included) around the world gather to play.
Still players eligible for those squads who were missing. I also forgot about elgar.
If you want to use the player missing excuse then the Titans have even more reasons to cry about it.
Indian cancelled it about a season or so ago.
I suppose the only way around this is another franchise or two so that more players get regular time in the middle. And this isn't going to happen when there is no investment in the game.
My recollection is that the Champions Trophy was shelved. But yes, were it still in play, the Warriors and Titans would have been on the plane to the compo.
