LOL I'm at Nova 4 and I don't feel nearly good enough to qualify for the old DMG ranks. At least I'm finally out of Nova 3. What a slog.Nova 4/MG1 seems to be the old DMG level. I just can't get out of it
I also don't like the new AK sound. I still find myself thinking "wait, was that an AK?" when I hear a T firing it from somewhere on the map. I suppose I just need to get used to it. It sounds so impotent now though.

I have tried and tested the new Inferno... don't like it at all. What is with the huge passage ways... the map also don't feel balanced, less so than the previous version.
The old aged version we use to have is the reason I played on it to be honest. No map is better than the old inferno.

I like the new Inferno. It plays a lot faster. It reminds me a lot more of the old 1.6 Inferno.
Banana is a deathtrap for Terries now without that row of columns.

I really like the new inferno!
B feels a bit more CT sided:
- Well timed nades/mollies can really hold back the T's
- Wide entrance to B makes it easy for CT's to get the picks.
A favors T more:
- Bomb plants can be easily defended from some OP angles.
- T should get the pick mid very easy.
- Easier to overrun apps
- Easier to clear out bomb site

Yea, I dislike it.
However it's only because even though it's the same map, the strategies will now be completely different. It will take some getting used too but it's a nice change.
O and the frame rate drop... My pc is mainly capped at 299 fps. But the new inferno it's around 230fps. I can only imagine what people will be feeling if they played on about 60fps and now sitting with about 0 - 30

When Valve time rolls around and they update to Source 2 using the Vulkan API changing it from CPU to GPU dependent will be a good day for most people.

The one big complaint about banana was that a capable awper could hold B site on his own, especially when the T’s knows nothing about nade strats.
Not much have changed at A other than the open space. A good 3 player CT hold on A is strong, the open space contributes to an easier retake.

Ts can get to apps a lot faster now by getting a good spawn and taking that new exit from T-spawn. I was raping the CT that tried to push there because I was up close so much faster than he expected.
Overall though I agree, little has changed on the site itself.

I'm not much of a skin person but seeing the pro team gloves in the EPICENTER tournament I wouldn't complain if we got glove skins.
i love my skins! most expensive is in the R180 mark.... didnt spend that much on it.... prob spent about R70 on it.
I dont spend big bucks on skins, just when i have extra cash lying around

I haven't used a single cent on skins, I just sell cases and other drops and buy the skins I think look cool.
Can you buy skins straight off that site?

Not into the skins thing...I use the ones that get dropped but never opened a case to try and get more skins (how do I give cases away? Does the person who gets them have to buy a key to open them? I guess so else the economy wouldn't make sense).
